Matthew to join Dancing On Ice?
Strictly Come Dancing pro Matthew Cutler is set to appear on rival Dancing On Ice - as a celebrity contestant.

Professional ballroom and Latin-American ace Matthew, 36 - who won Strictly with singer Alesha Dixon in 2007 - was dropped as part of the BBC show's revamp.

He turned down the offer of a role in Strictly's new professional "dance troupe" and set his sights on Dancing On Ice instead.

Being a trained dancer should not prevent him appearing in the ITV1 show because he is not a professional ice skater.

But one insider said: "His dance training will definitely give him an advantage and he could be seen as a front-runner from the off.

"Other contestants might not be too happy about that."

Matthew joined Strictly in 2005 and performed in five series before being given the boot.
One insider said: "It shows the power of Strictly that you can join as an unknown dancer and by the time you leave you can go on to another show as a celebrity.
An insider said: "Producers are really keen on Matthew, as signing him up would be two fingers to the BBC after they dropped him."
